* What is Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu? *

Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu is the most complete, effective and innovative martial art.  It is based on a traditional Japanese combat system that has been adapted to meet the needs of modern society.                                                                               

Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu combines correct timing of defense and offense including joint locks, holds, throws, kicks, punches and strangulations to subdue or disable one or more unarmed or armed opponents.  Training includes also defense against armed assault.  Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu is practiced by ordinary citizens, police, military and security personnel.

 

About the instructor:  Professor Pertti Kangas has 22 years of experience in Ju-Jutsu and other martial arts. He has previously taught Ju-Jutsu in Latin America and Europe.

 

 

Regular weekly group training times:

Mon 6:30 PM (Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu, MMA, self-defense)
Thu 6:30 PM (Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu, MMA, self-defense)
Sat 1:00 PM (Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu, MMA, self-defense, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Grappling, Submission Fighting)


NOTE: Additional training hours are announced during regular weekly training and they include specialized techniques in different categories, e.g. weapons training, sparring, combat tactics, etc.

Private lessons are also available for ordinary citizens, police, military and security personnel.
