Higuain will grab the headlines as his performance wasn’t technically chiselled display that Messi produced but at the end of the day, yielded three goals. The striker of the Real Madrid scored a couple of textbook headers. It is a tap-in from two yards and also going close on several other occasions.

But Higuain by his superlative performance, certainly proved his flamboyant coach right in his decision making process. He displayed superb dedication, devotion and temperament on the field. He played big hands against Barcelona and South Korea by setting up all four goals. Dimitris Salpingidis who is from Greece, was one of the best player on the pitch against Nigeria. He was a constant danger as the tiny forward worked brilliantly between the lines. It was a well deserved good fortune which he got for his goal.
